Preliminary research was performed to determine the intention for the new pieces of communication, as well as the audience they were intended for. Currently a bit older, the audience for the communication were in their 20’s during the 70s/80s and the party was intended to be a chance for them to relive those times. I chose colors, patterns, and characters that would remind the audience of the fun they had in their younger years. Once the audience was in a partying mood the fundraising part of the communication kicks in. The event was for a good cause and the audience needs to know that in order to make the event a success.
